于昨晚在Astro第一摄影棚举行的最后一场选拔赛中，一向都以PK过关斩将的晓媚在最关键的PK赛中，输给了自己的好姐妹莞倩，无缘踏上新秀大赛的决赛万人舞台！
昨晚的主题为经典名曲新唱，一番表演后，好人以从未进入PK环节的优异成绩率先杀入决赛！紧接着的有背负沉重压力的Debbie，还有就是莫名其妙越战越勇的Danny,双双杀入决赛！
进入首场PK环节的Natalie，莞倩和晓媚都使出浑身解数，尽力争取最后的两席位置。然而，被评审誉为气数已尽的晓媚无法再次展现奇迹，与好姐妹莞倩被逼进入终极PK争取最后的一席位置，而Natalie以超水准的表现争到一席决赛位置！
终极PK赛要求参赛者各自清唱30秒，但是晓媚依然还是无法展现自己过人的地方，在最关键一战，PK Queen因为突破不了而输给了自己的好姐妹！星光PK5不能全数进入决赛！
赛后莞倩一度哭到不能自拔，希望莞倩能在决赛好好加油，把晓媚的份也一并努力下去！
